The official launch of the RISE/E Programme is here! The Ready for Inclusive Sustainable Employability and Entrepreneurship (RISE/E) Programme is an initiative delivered in partnership with Sightsavers and aimed at developing vibrant, growing employment pathways for young people and strengthening micro-enterprises. This programme supports entrepreneurs, with and without disabilities, to grow their businesses, access finance, and stimulate job creation. RISE/E empowers young women to gain essential skills and sustainable employment, both in self-employment and formal employment. Our programme will build a talent pool of employment-ready youth (male and female) with disabilities, equipping them with the skills and competencies demanded by businesses and SMEs, which generate the majority of employment in our project markets. By supporting entrepreneurs in building thriving micro-businesses, we aim to create jobs within communities, particularly for youth with disabilities, while promoting sustainable, green, and social practices. Over the next three years, these businesses are expected to generate significant employment opportunities and create positive social and environmental impacts. Are you ready to take your business to the next level? Apply for the RISE/E Programme if you meet the following criteria: 1. Your business is formally registered as a private company or partnership. 2. Your business has been in existence for at least 2 years. 3. At least one owner is between 18-35 years old at the time of applying. 4. Your business has at least 2 members of staff, including the owner. 5. You have financial records covering at least 6 months and are willing to share them confidentially. 6. Your business addresses an environmental, climatic, or social issue.
