in hit game arknights there tends to be a pattern with 4/5* units when it comes to their skills: S1 tends to be a generic, universally applicable skill, while S2 is a more specific, unit niche skill.

Take 4* Jessica for example: Her S1 is an auto attack buff skill that makes her 4* Kroos, while her S2 is a timed attack buff that grants Camouflage. Or the 5* Kestrel whose S1 is the basic pioneer class DP charge but her S2 is a hefty combat buff.

This isn’t a universal hardcoded rule but more of a general design choice based on classes. 5* Ritualist Valarqvin for example has an S1 that stores charges and grants necrosis bonuses (the store charges mechanic being the more generic available skill) and an S2 that grants multiple attacks alongside an attack buff. She’s a more specialized class even with her skills but her S1 still provides a more generic type of buff comparatively.

All that said!

When it comes to 4/5* Arknights unit M3 Skill Mastery, do you buff:

The universally applicable S1

The more specialized S2

When Lostbelt 7 released on FGO JP, I saw that there was an uptick in interest in Mesoamerican mythology from Japanese people online. But I’ll admit that I’m a little miffed when their interest is solely on the mythology or on the lives of people from centuries ago.

Indigenous people still live in colonized countries, and I think it’s important for there to be eyes on them from all over the globe, not just in the west, especially from the imperial core. I always like it when art inspires interest in storytelling from foreign cultures, but we’ve got to remember to keep in mind the people who inspired the stories in the first place. They’re still around, and could use support.
