Steal?

They don't steal them. Links stuff is washed up on the shore of the island. The Tokay consider anything washed up on the island as theirs, so it's not stealing. It's finders keepers.

The Tokay are reasonably...stupid, let's say, compared to human (or Hylian) intelligence (they think three is a massive number four hundred years after Link first meets them). They act rather guilty when Link finds them, but they're nice enough to give back what they took without complaint. It's just their way of life to take items that wash up on their island, with or without a person to accompany them, so by human or Hylian standards they might be seen as thieves, but not by their own standards.

Quite simply, the Tokay are children in many senses. They're unable to look far into the future, so they act in the present. That's how they appear to me, when I play the game. --Felicia's Champion 23:39, 15 September 2008 (UTC)

Not a single source

I would mention that not a single source is present on this page. It is a stub, however a few statements here should certainly be referenced. I'm complaining (as opposed to doing it myself) simply because I don't play Ooa.--Stalkid 17:38, 10 August 2010 (EDT)
