Russ is a recurring character in The Legend of Zelda series.[2][3]

Biography

Breath of the Wild

Russ is a member of the Shield Breakers, a Shield Surfing gang, consisting of him and his friend Fin.[4] He asks Link to buy from the selection of Shields he has, which are used for Shield Surfing. If Link purchases a Shield, he tells him about the Hylian Shield, which he thinks would be perfect for Surfing with.[5][6] After discussing the Shield, he tells Link that there is a rumor of one being in Hyrule Castle.[7]
