Properties |
Mighty Lynel Swords are Weapons that are used by Blue-Maned Lynels. In Master Mode, though, they are wielded by White-Maned Lynels. Because most Lynels scale up as Link defeats Enemies, Mighty Lynel Swords may become more scarce as the game progresses. However, the Blue-Maned Lynel in the First Gatehouse of Hyrule Castle does not scale up, making it a permanent source of Mighty Lynel Swords. Skilled Lynels are able to draw this Sword in passing and still damage their foes.[1] They belong to the Lynel Gear equipment archetype, which is a collection of Weapons that are created by Lynels.[3]
As metallic Weapons, Mighty Lynel Swords will attract Lightning when equipped during Thunderstorms and conduct Electricity. However, they can also be picked up using the Magnesis Rune, which is useful since they sink if dropped in Water. Finally, Mighty Lynel Swords will not burn if they are exposed to Fire or a Scorching Climate.
