Biography

Breath of the Wild

Meghyn is a Hylian who travels Hyrule Kingdom searching for Hearty Truffles with her sister, Nat.[5] When Link encounters them, the sisters will be under attack by a pair of Bokoblins. Meghyn and Nat can be found in the Ginner Woods, along the Ternio Trail south of Foothill Stable, and in the Sarjon Woods.

While she is being attacked, Meghyn will run away in fear.[6][7][8] After the Bokoblin has been defeated, she will be relieved.[9][10][11] When spoken to, she she thanks Link for his help by giving him Food, Materials, or Rupees.[12][13] Afterwards, she states that Nat's idea to search for Hearty Truffles is the reason they got in danger.[14]

If Link speaks to Meghyn again, she claims that she never wanted to go hunting for Hearty Truffles, blaming Nat for their predicament.[15] After both Bokoblins have been defeated, she is surprised that she and Nat have survived.[16] She recalls that the Bokoblins appeared out of nowhere.[17] She harbors some resentment towards Nat, who refuses to let them return home without Hearty Truffles.[18] If Meghyn was knocked unconscious by a Bokoblin, she continues to blame Nat.[19] Alternatively, if Link saves Meghyn while Nat is still in danger, Meghyn will be concerned for her sister.[20][21]

While they are scouring for Hearty Truffles, Meghyn remarks that she wants to go home.[22] She recalls that she told Nat it would be risky to go hunting.[23] She claims that Nat becomes unreasonable when she thinks about Rupees.[24] Nat tells Meghyn to return to their search, reminding her that they will not return home until they find Hearty Truffles.[25] With a sigh, Meghyn agrees with her.[26]

When Link speaks to Nat, she tells him about her and Meghyn's journey and reasoning behind searching for Hearty Truffles, claiming there is no reward without a risk.[27] Meghyn becomes angered by this, standing up and telling Nat not to make it sound as though they only care about Rupees.[28] She reminds Nat that whatever money they make is not worth it if they do not survive to spend it at home.[29] Nat argues back, stating they will either practice fighting or find Hearty Truffles, and she considers both of these scenarios to be a win.[30] Meghyn becomes despondent, claiming that Nat will be the death of her.[31]
