Loose-Sand Mounds,(TotKTears of the Kingdom)[1] also known as Sand Mounds,(TFHTri Force Heroes)[2] are recurring Objects in The Legend of Zelda series. Loose-Sand Mounds go unnamed in Skyward Sword.
Location and Uses
Skyward Sword
In Skyward Sword, Loose-Sand Mounds can be blown away using the Gust Bellows. Loose-Sand Mounds may contain Arachas or Items such as Hearts, Rupees, or Treasures.
Loose-Sand Mounds can also hide Objects such as Switches, and large Loose-Sand Mounds can hide Timeshift Stones or block doorways.
Tri Force Heroes
Sand Mounds appear in various Levels of The Dunes. They can be blown away with the Gust Jar or removed with the Water Rod. Sand Mounds can hide items such as Hearts and Rupees, or objects such as Switches. Moving Sand Mounds hide Karat Crabs underneath.
Taller Sand Mounds appear exclusively in Stone Corridors, hiding Anubis-like statues that are used to unlock certain doors or to weigh down tilting platforms.
Tears of the Kingdom
Loose-Sand Mounds can be blown away with Weapons that generate wind or Fans.
Echoes of Wisdom
Loose-Sand Mounds are piles of Sand found in the Gerudo Desert. They can be blown away using Wind Gusts. Some Loose-Sand Mounds may have Arurodas hidden inside of them.
