Trivia

  • Kotake's headband and tabard have a stylized depiction of Japanese Katakana which has her name, コタケ (Kotake) as a pattern.
  • In Tears of the Kingdom, there is a green-skinned Gerudo that appears in the background of the Memories "The Gerudo Assault" and "A Show of Fealty" who wears blue gems. She also wears a sash which has コタケ (Kotake) written on it in the Hylian writing from Ocarina of Time.

Nomenclature

Koume and Kotake's names are based on the twin characters of the 1949 Japanese novel The Village of Eight Graves.[3]
