The Hyrule Garrison Ruins are a recurring location in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2]

Features and Overview

Breath of the Wild

The Hyrule Garrison Ruins are located in Hyrule Field. They were formerly the Hyrule Garrison, but were destroyed during the second Great Calamity.[3] Some Fallen Guardians can be found around the Ruins and can be searched for Ancient Materials. Similarly, a broken wagon can be found on the southeast side of the Ruins, which can also be searched for Materials.

A stone Treasure Chest containing a Forest Dweller's Sword can be found in a building on the north side of the Ruins. Another stone Treasure Chest containing a Soldier's Shield can be found in the building to the south. On top of the keep even further south is another stone Chest containing a Silver Rupee. In the east corner of the building immediately to the east is yet another stone Chest containing a Serpentine Spear. Finally, another stone Treasure Chest containing an Opal can be found atop the building east of the crossroads in the Ruins. In the "EX Treasure: Phantasma" Side Quest exclusive to The Master Trials DLC pack, a metallic Treasure Chest containing the Phantom Greaves can be found buried next to Guardian remains in the southeast of the Ruins.

A Korok can be found by examining the Leaves with Fairy Dust at the top of a flagpole near the Road on the east side of the Ruins.

Tears of the Kingdom

The Hyrule Garrison Ruins remain occupied by Monsters in Tears of the Kingdom. The Central Tower is now gone, and the Susuyai Shrine now sits near where it was. Despite its population of Monsters, people still travel along the roads that pass through the Ruins.

Along the southeastern road of the Ruins, Link can find Hyrule Restoration Materials as well as a Busted Wagon that can be searched for Materials. West of the fountain area, the Monsters have constructed a Monster Stronghold. This Stronghold is fortified with Barricades and Bomb Barrels. A lit Cooking Pot can be found beneath this Stronghold. Between this Stronghold and the Susuyai Shrine, more Hyrule Restoration Materials can be found.
