Grasshoppers are a recurring species in The Legend of Zelda series.(MMMajora's Mask | TPTwilight Princess | SSSkyward Sword)[1][2][name references needed]

Characteristics

Majora's Mask

Though Grasshoppers do not physically appear in Majora's Mask, Romani gives Link the nickname of "Grasshopper" due to his Green Tunic and the pattering sound he makes when he walks.[1]

Twilight Princess

Two Grasshoppers appear as Golden Bugs in Twilight Princess, both of them found north of Kakariko Village. They can be traded in with Agitha in exchange for rewards. When given to Agitha, she recites a verse about Grasshoppers.[3]

Skyward Sword

Faron Grasshoppers are Bugs found in the Faron Woods in Skyward Sword. They can be used to Upgrade Potions at the Potion Shop.
