Grantéson
Grantéson,(TotKTears of the Kingdom)[5] also known as Granté,(BotWBreath of the Wild)[6] is a recurring character in The Legend of Zelda series.
Biography
Breath of the Wild
Granté is a half-Hylian, half-Sheikah merchant, who is the son of the researchers Robbie and Jerrin.[4] Robbie recalls that Granté grew quickly, and he used to train his body by carrying the Blue Flame from Tumlea Heights.[7] Before Granté left the Akkala Ancient Tech Lab, Robbie wrote to Purah to ask if he could study with her at the Hateno Ancient Tech Lab, but she refused any guests.[8]
Seeing Granté's curiosity, Robbie encouraged him to travel.[9][10] On the day his father suggested he should explore the outside world, Granté left his home.[11] During this time, he traveled the world whilst studying ancient civilizations.[12]
Granté appears on the porch of one of the Houses in Tarrey Town after the "From the Ground Up" Side Quest is complete. When Link first meets Granté, he asks if he is also traveling throughout the world.[13] If Link says he is doing something like that, Granté is excited to meet someone else like him.[14]
Granté sells Armor Sets to Link that have no other method of being replaced after Link loses them,[15] such as Expansion Pass Armor Sets or those found within Ancient Shrines.[16][17] However, he is unable to sell Armors that Link has not previously obtained.[18][19] He will also sell Link a new Hylian Shield for 3,000 Rupees if the original is lost or broken.
Link can also sell Items to Granté. He asks to see what Link has,[20][21] in addition to warning him not to make a mistake when choosing what to sell.[22]

Tears of the Kingdom
Grantéson now works for Hudson Construction, having changed his name to get a job with the company.[23] He helps Link build his House during the "Home on Arrange" Side Quest by selling him rooms to use for House building, as well as verifying the House meets the construction guidelines.
Nomenclature
Grantéson's name is derived from pomegranate. As of Tears of the Kingdom, he has added the "-son" suffix to his name, signifying his employment by Hudson Construction.
