Eldin Canyon Skyview Tower is a location in Tears of the Kingdom.[1]

Features and Overview

The Eldin Canyon Skyview Tower is a Skyview Tower in Eldin Canyon.[2] When Link uses the Tower, he will be launched into the Sky, allowing him to Scan Map data for a majority of the Eldin and the Eldin Sky.[3][4] Following this, Link can launch himself into the Sky from the Tower at any time. After activating the Tower, he will also be able to Warp to its Travel Point.

When Link first arrives at the Eldin Canyon Skyview Tower, he will find Sawson standing outside of its closed doors. If Link speaks to Sawson, he apologizes for the mess in the area.[5] He goes on to explain that the Tower was hit by a piece of Fallen Debris, which caused the lid on top of it to fall off and jammed the doors.[6] He theorizes that using the Terminal inside would fix the doors, but he is unsure how to reach it.[6] He also advises Link that Ruins Rubble commonly falls in the area and warns him to be careful.[7] By using Recall on the Ruins Rubble from the Eldin Canyon Sky, Link can gain enough altitude to reach the open hole on top of the Skyview Tower. Alternatively, he can Climb the Tower. Once inside the Tower, Link can try to open the doors, and although he will fail, Sawson will be shocked by his presence.[8] After activating the Skyview Tower with his Purah Pad, the doors will finally open. Sawson thanks him for his help, resolving to take a break before moving on to his next job.[9] Afterwards, Link will be able to freely use the Eldin Canyon Skyview Tower.

  6. 6.0 6.1 [A mess?] A big chunk of old ruins fell from the sky and hit the Skyview Tower! It knocked off the lid that covers the hole at the top of the tower. That means the hole at the top is open. And that"s not all! After the impact, the door got stuck too. Let"s see... Maybe if you used the terminal inside, that would force the door back open. But without a way to get inside, we"re kind of stuck. — Sawson (Tears of the Kingdom)
  7. A lot of ruins have fallen around this area. Really dangerous. Always a good idea to keep your eye on the sky here, just in case ruins plop right down around you. — Sawson (Tears of the Kingdom)
  8. Huh?! How did you get in there? I was pretty sure you couldn"t get that door open without using the terminal... — Sawson (Tears of the Kingdom)
  9. Oooh! I was right! Using the terminal did open the door. Thank you! That was a big help! Now then...I think I"ll take a little break before heading to my next job. — Sawson (Tears of the Kingdom)
