Why do merchants choose Stitch Card for pay-ins? One of the reasons is the integration flexibility we offer, enabling you to choose between three ways to integrate. ✅ Hosted pages. Leverage pre-built, fully customised (html/css level editing) hosted pages which can be integrated through a redirect or iframe. Hosted pages are mobile optimised and work seamlessly with native applications experience. ✅ Secure fields (SDK). Customise and style embedded form fields for a unified user experience – without redirects. Build your own payment pages and leverage fully customisable Stitch elements to enhance security. ✅ Pure API. Ensure seamless UX with a fully customisable CSS and complete control over the payments flow. Create dynamic payment flows based on user behaviour, preference or risk assessment, improving user experience and conversion rates. What should last-mile delivery services be focusing on to offer a fast, seamless and efficient experience in an increasingly competitive landscape? Today, South Africans are spending, on average, around 10% of their income on online purchases. The growing popularity of marketplaces like takealot.com, SHEIN, and most recently, Amazon, has also placed greater demand for efficient services. Coupled with increased internet penetration, we expect the growth of online purchases in the country will only continue to rise. Here, we outline the three most popular categories for last-mile delivery and how they can optimise their payments operations to be the first at the door: https://lnkd.in/dxbD9PQq

Last week, the South African Reserve Bank published its inaugural payments study report - here are the key takeaways on digital payments adoption: As cash still remains the most popular payment method across the country, with debit card in coming second, digital payment adoption has been relatively slow. Only a third (33%) of the population indicated they have no difficulty adopting electronic or digital financial methods. Reasons for this sluggish adoption vary from lack of knowledge, lack of funds and/or lack of control. Given this, the SARB classified the population into three distinct categories: 📌 Digital adopters (33%): this group has adopted digital platforms or technology and feels confident using digital payment methods 📌 Digital rejectors (36%): this group has no interest or outright rejects technology and/or digital platforms to transaction or manage their finances 📌 The excluded (31%): this group have no interaction with technology platforms of digital payment methods due to structural or financial barriers As we highlighted in our series of consumer payments reports earlier this year, South Africans have shown a willingness towards adopting digital payment methods but need to be reassured when it comes to the safety and security of their funds. In order for merchants to win in a competitive landscape - and to meet the unique needs of South African consumers - education on how digital payments work, the safety of digital transactions, and benefits of leveraging digital payments should remain a key focus for businesses, and all other players in the financial ecosystem. Get all the insights from the SARB's study here: https://lnkd.in/dxtEG6hD

How have account to account payments evolved over the years? Just last year, we illustrated the shift in the market from Instant EFT to a broader Pay by bank offering, incorporating both Instant EFT and new bank-led APIs. Now, the Pay by bank space has shifted into a world that more closely resembles card payments. This means more convenience and security for end users a more standardised offering for merchants across banks. Stitch President Junaid Dadan explains: "At Stitch, we see this new rail as an opportunity to develop even more robust and tailored offerings for our clients that take their bank to bank method to another level. In highly competitive sectors, speed is critical, as the payments experience continues to play a crucial role when it comes to how and where consumers decide to spend their money." Take a closer look at the journey from Instant EFT to the latest Pay by bank scheme and discover how to stay ahead: https://lnkd.in/dKPhQUtr
