At Simera Sense, we thrive in making our client's dreams a reality. https://lnkd.in/dRPMUUcn?
How do you take a satellite from vision to reality? 🤔 🛰️ Our nanosatellite Lemu Nge is the result of a collaborative process involving several companies and dozens of experts in 5 countries and 3 continents. Before going into space, Lemu Nge has completed a great journey on Earth. Learn about the main stages that our nanosatellite has overcome to become a reality and the companies that have been part of this project: 🇨🇱 Lemu, Chile: the idea of launching the first satellite designed exclusively to observe the Earth's biodiversity was born in Chile. Lemu Nge is the first private satellite in Chilean history, an achievement we are very proud of. 🇱🇹 NanoAvionics, Lithuania: with more than 80 satellites launched or under construction, this company specialized in small satellite missions was responsible for the design, construction, assembly, and testing of Lemu Nge. 🇿🇦 Simera Sense, South Africa: specializing in optical solutions for observing our planet, they built the state-of-the-art hyperspectral camera for our satellite. 🇩🇪 Exolaunch, Germany: Lemu Nge was integrated into its deployer by this company, which has already deployed 396 small satellites into various orbits in space. 🇺🇸 SpaceX, USA: the company founded by Elon Musk is tasked with taking Lemu Nge into space aboard its reusable Falcon 9 Block 5 rocket on the Transporter-11 mission. The date of Lemu Nge's launch from Vandenberg Space Force Base is getting closer and closer. Stay here to find the exact date and watch the launch in real-time. 🚀 🛰️ Kongsberg NanoAvionics Simera Sense #Lemu #LemuNge #Satellite #AMissionInSpaceAPurposeOnEarth

Another project Simera Sense is excited and proud to be part of—Godspeed to Leo Prieto, the team at Lemu and Kongsberg NanoAvionics. #hyperspactral #hyperscape100 #earthobservation https://lnkd.in/dusyduwp?
A guided tour of our satellite Lemu Nge 🛰️ 👀 In the collective imagination, satellites appear as huge spacecraft carrying large parabolic antennas and orbiting our planet. However, in the case of our satellite Lemu Nge, that image is very different. 👇 Lemu Nge is a nanosatellite with a weight of less than 10kg, a size similar to a shoebox, ultra-high frequency (UHF) antennas comparable to the baton of an orchestra director, and a series of technological components as small as mind-blowing. 🤯 Our satellite is part of a category of spacecraft known as CubeSats. These marvels of space engineering get their name because they are composed of one-unit cubes (1U), each measuring 10x10x10 centimeters. 📏 Lemu Nge has a size of six units (6U), that is, six of those cubes together, enough space to carry all the necessary tools for its mission: to observe our planet's ecosystems and capture hyperspectral images to study and protect its biodiversity. 🌎 Watch this video with our founder and CEO, Leo Prieto, who takes you on a guided tour of Lemu Nge's most relevant technological components, from its state-of-the-art hyperspectral camera to its amazing ion propulsion system. 💫 🛰️ 🚀 The announcement of Lemu Nge's exact launch date this July is on its way. Keep your eyes open! We'll soon share information to see it in real-time. 🚀 Kongsberg NanoAvionics Simera Sense #Lemu #LemuNge #Satellite #AMissionInSpaceAPurposeOnEarth
