GSB Case Writing Centre is back from a winter break with an exciting line-up for the third quarter. Last year we launched our Doing Business in Africa (DBIA) case series to bring more African business cases to everyone - open-source and multimedia. You can dip into the cases here: https://shorturl.at/KwSOM To develop the format, GSB Case Writing Centre case researchers spent time doing in depth research and interviews with faculty, corporates, Graduate School of Business - University of Cape Town alumni and students through a design thinking process with the Hasso Plattner d-school Afrika at the University of Cape Town. We wanted to create a case format that was relevant, meaningful, and new to what our stakeholders needed. And so next, we bring you a glimpse into behind-the-scenes of each puzzle piece of our DBIA case series. First up is what we call our intro blog Meet the Company - which is self explanatory. We also introduce the underlying dilemma/s that the company is facing. After all, that's what cases do - pose the issues to be solved.
