"Education as the Key to Africa's Renaissance" - this was the theme of the Charlotte Maxeke Annual Lecture & Awards, which took place this evening at the Radisson Blu Gautrain Hotel. Gautrain partnered with the Charlotte Maxeke Institute to honour women who have made exceptional contributions in their respective fields. It is indeed inspiring to witness the legacy of Mme Charlotte Mannya-Maxeke thrive 85 years after she departed, and in a year that marks 123 years since she became the first black South African woman to graduate with a University Degree. Congratulations to the winners. #WhyItMatters #GautrainJourneys
