During the #Koeberg40year anniversary celebrations, #Eskom had the privilege of hosting the Minister of Electricity and Energy, Dr Kgosientsho Ramokgopa. The Minister expressed gratitude to various teams and individuals, including Eskom, led by Chairman Dr Mtheto Nyati, the Exco members under the guidance of our Group Chief Executive, Dan Marokane, and the Generation team led by Group Executive Generation, Bheki Nxumalo. Special recognition was also given to the Chief Financial Officer, Calib Cassim, for previously holding the fort and all the Koeberg Nuclear Power Station managers in the last four decades. Most importantly, the Koeberg team, led by Velaphi Ntuli, received accolades for their excellent work in achieving 40 years of safe operations and outstanding performance at the Koeberg nuclear power station. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the minister for his guidance and continued support during the critical period of load shedding, and we look forward to his continued support as we embark on a new 20-year journey at Koeberg.
