This week reminded me of the famous African Proverb “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together” The challenges in the continent require us to work together. The Collision Conf highlighted the latest trends in technology and how technology continues to transform the way we communicate and get information about the world. I had the privilege of showcasing the work we do at Enlighten Edu on one of the stages and had an exhibition booth on Wednesday. It is critical that we build a strong pipeline for STEM education to ensure that we produce skilled, employable engineers that will tackle the continent's deepest challenges. I also had the privilege of attending the Giants of Africa 's second 'AfriCAN:Advancing Africa Together' presented by TD Faith Biyapo, PMP® where Jamad Fiin and Didier Drogba shared their inspirational stories. The evening reminded me of why I do what I do and why it is important for all of us to play our part in advancing the continent.
