We spent #MandelaDay with Ladles of Love, packing food boxes for those in need. In the spirit of Madiba's legacy, we dedicated an hour to making a difference. It might not seem like much, but even one hour of giving back can have a ripple effect, filling hungry bellies and bringing smiles to faces. In the words of Mandela: "Small acts, when multiplied by millions of people, can change the world." 🦾

Speaky Wednesday with Prof. Francis B. Nyamnjoh! 🚀 We recently had the pleasure of having Francis Nyamnjoh as our guest speaker for our weekly "Speaky Wednesday" session. Prof. Nyamnjoh, delivered an insightful talk based on his paper "ICTs as Juju: African inspiration for understanding the compositeness of being human through digital technologies." During his talk, Prof. Nyamnjoh explored how digital technologies shape our understanding of being human, and highlighted the following: ✨ Influence on Identity and Relationships: Technology influences our identity and relationships by making us "more" than who we are. ✨ Cultural Perspectives: Drawing on African cultural perspectives and the concept of Juju (magic), he examined how digital technologies enable us to enhance ourselves through creativity and imagination, akin to acquiring magical objects to extend beyond our ordinary selves. We are very grateful to Prof. Nyamnjoh for sharing his valuable insights and engaging us in such a thought-provoking discussion. It was an enriching experience for all of us!
