How do we ensure operational excellence when faced with unexpected challenges? Recently, we encountered a challenge delivering forklifts for Transnet Engineering (TE) Wheels Operation in Koedoespoort. The equipment didn’t match the requested specifications, particularly the mast height and forklift tonnages where instead of 4- and 5-ton forklifts, we delivered 4.5. and 5.5 tons. Here’s how we approached this: -Quick Resolution: We promptly corrected the specifications within a day, ensuring minimal disruption so that operations can resume. -Pre-delivery Checks: We’ve strengthened inspections and documentation to ensure alignment with client requirements. -Technical Clarifications: We recognized the importance of early, clear technical discussions to prevent misunderstandings. -Flexibility & Accountability: Our ops team adapted quickly and took full responsibility for resolving the issue efficiently. Thank you to our supplier and client for their firm collaboration and partnership throughout the process.
