A toast to South Africa Wine at #AMP2024! AMP attendees, let’s reminisce about the incredible welcome function last week! South Africa Wine took us on a delightful journey through the heart of winemaking tradition, featuring a host of black-owned wine brands. 𝗜𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘁𝗼𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗔𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝘀 𝗳𝗮𝗿 𝗮𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮, 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗱𝗼𝗺, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗦𝗔! We began by uncorking the essence of Africa itself with African Roots Wines, each sip a reminder of the continent’s vibrant spirit. Bayede! Royal Wine and Spirits offered majestic flavours that truly embodied the region, while Best Spirits of Africa showcased the pinnacle of craftsmanship with every bottle. But the evening didn’t stop there! We also had the pleasure of savouring the rich heritage of Birthmark of Africa, the exquisite flavours of Koni Wines and Nietvoorbij, and the power and passion poured into every bottle of HER Wines. Finally, the grand finale arrived with an exclusive second tasting. We explored the innovative creations of Ses’fikile Wines, the promising future of Bridge of Hope Wines, and the joyous spirit captured in Thokozani Wines.
