August Upgrades: Precision and Control!

This month, Yorba introduces features to enhance your control and experience. You can now select a primary currency for viewing recurring payments, and former Premium members can access their last synced fees. We also boosted the unsubscribe feature’s success rate and made several performance improvements.

Updates:

  • Primary Currency: Choose your preferred currency (USD, GBP, EUR, CAD) for recurring payments.

  • Former Premium Members: View last synced fees in the app.

  • Improvements: Enhanced unsubscribe success rate, fees, Plaid integration, and Global Search fixes.

July’s Jump: Smooth and Streamlined!

This month, we focused on making Yorba even more user-friendly. You'll now receive clearer notifications about scan completion, and we've simplified account management by removing the "All" view. Plus, you'll always be in the loop about your unsubscribed emails. Behind the scenes, we've also squashed some bugs and improved navigation for a smoother experience.

Updates:

  • Enhanced Communication: Users will now receive an clear email notification when a scan completes, ensuring you’re always updated on your scan status.

  • Interface Simplification: The "All" view has been removed from the Account Manager to streamline your account management experience.

  • Unsubscribe Details: As a member, you’ll now be informed when you’ve unsubscribed from a mailing list, providing better clarity and control over your subscriptions.

  • Improved Application URLs: Added URLs for "deleted" and "unsubscribed" tabs on the accounts page to enhance navigation and tracking.

June's Tune: Better, Faster, Stronger!

As we groove into July, we’re tuning up Yorba to be better, faster, and stronger. Our team has been working hard, making significant under-the-hood improvements you'll love. We’ve reduced duplicates, enhanced stability, and focused on delivering an optimal experience for you.  We’ve also added progress tracking, improved our scan results, and ensured our platform is more stable. Get ready for a smoother, quicker, and more efficient Yorba experience!

Updates:

  • Enhanced scan results for mailing lists and logins, significantly reducing duplicates and system errors.

  • Introduced progress tracking and improved overall platform stability.

  • Users opting to delete their Yorba account will now be invited to share their feedback, helping us continuously improve by understanding the experiences of both new and departing members.

  • Addressed numerous bugs and improvements, including correcting breached logins displaying incorrect accounts and resolving issues with adding certain breached logins.

  • Improved user experience by adding a loader on the "Add all Results" option on the review page and fixing unsubscribe failures that depended on opening a new tab.

Scans, please!

Our April updates made us feel like Mother Teresa over here. We were able to make getting help even easier, and this month, we’re excited to announce improvements that came directly from our early members: a refreshed review results page. Learn more below!

Updates:

  • Refreshed review results page: There’s nothing more beautiful than a fresh review results page, is there? We spent months talking to members and analyzing feedback, so we’re beyond excited to share that the scan results finally get their dedicated page. Now it’s easier to review and add scan results to your account.

  • Bug fixes galore: We won’t bore you with the millions of tiny fixes we rolled out this month, but believe us when we say that bugs were squashed and fixes were delivered. Huzzah.

March brought us some insane growth thanks to the February TechCrunch piece, and we learned a lot about how to safely scale quickly! We spent the month listening to your feedback, talking to our new members, and iterating quickly to create a more stable platform. Check out what we have launching this month. No joke, it’s going to be great. 

Updates:

  • Made the upgrade button impossible to miss 

  • Want to chat? You can now send us feedback right from Yorba.app.  

  • Sharing is caring, and we enhanced our referral page to make it easier than ever for you to make money. 

  • Ch-ch-ch-changes are easier than ever. Now you can change or cancel your membership right from the membership page. 

  • Sick of data breaches? You can now delete accounts directly from the data breaches page for those logins you already added to Yorba. 

  • You talked, we listened! We made it easier to differentiate between verified accounts, scans in progress, and accounts connected to breaches.

  • Help is here! Now, the help menu is available to Yorba Members right from the app!

  • Your membership page also got a bit of work done—now, you can go directly to the Stripe Portal instead of the Intercom chat when you need a hand.

  • Stable self-image: unlocked! Now, when you save Yorba on your home screen on Android or Apple devices, you’ll see the Yorba logo instead of the browser logo.

Apr 29 updates:

  • When the users save Yorba on their home screens in both Apple and Android phones, Yorba logo will be shown instead of browser logo

  • “Need some help?” menu is now available for Yorba members through which YM can easily navigate to the Release notes and Help Center from the application.

  • Membership page has been updated to direct users to the Stripe customer portal instead of Intercom Chat

February was a whirlwind month for Yorba, kicked off by a dazzling feature in TechCrunch that hailed our service as "Mint for uncluttering your entire digital life!" This glowing review sent waves of new users, eager members, and a bustling buzz to our community and platforms, injecting lots of energy into the Yorba universe. Embracing the surge with open arms, we dedicated the month to supercharging our systems—boosting our capacity by 10X—and diligently worked through a mountainous queue of scans for our enthusiastic new members.

Updates:

  • Quickly addressed scan delays created by a TechCrunch article, resolving long wait lines within a week.

  • Upgraded infrastructure to accommodate a surge of new members.

  • Integrated the Account Deletion Directory with over 10,000 new records, refining the account deletion process.

  • Enhanced user interface by defaulting the All accounts view to sort by relationship.

  • Completed the migration of partial scans to a better stable source, ensuring more efficient system operations.

  • Strengthened security and completed annual external assessment, reinforcing system security.

Heads Down and Learning.

January was a great start for Yorba, marking the culmination of our very first full month—a month where we not only launched but grew, welcoming over 10,000 curious visitors to our website and are well on our way establishing a vibrant founding community. This initial rush of interest and enthusiasm has been nothing short of inspiring, fueling our commitment to understanding and serving our diverse user base.

Throughout this exhilarating time, we rolled up our sleeves and dove deep into research, seizing every opportunity to engage with the new members who stepped through our virtual doors from day one. These conversations were more than just chats; they were amazing insights into how Yorba was being woven into the fabric of their digital life stacks. This feedback has been instrumental in sculpting our roadmap for the year, allowing us to pinpoint the unique needs and aspirations of our varied audiences—from the Digital Minimalists pruning their online presence, to the small businesses and entrepreneurs keeping their organization clean, to the students gearing up for graduation.

January has set the stage for a year of targeted development, community building, and, most importantly, serving the needs of our members with even greater precision and care. We're crafting Yorba not just as a tool, but as a companion in your journey to declutter and streamline your digital existence.   • Enhanced security across integrations to ensure member safety 

  • Optimizations in the Account All view, including default sort updates, adjustments to Unknown and Uncategorized categories, and linking Home's summary cards to specific account type views.

  • Updated UI design for the Review module and communication regarding subscriptions and recurring payments being exclusive to US institutions, along with a new toast message design for members.

We are live in Public Beta! As an introduction, since we are new here and you are too, but we would love to be in a committed, trusted, and transparent relationship.

While we opened the doors back in November, capacity and demand required us to retool a bit, so we came back in January better than ever!

We offer secure account management solutions to help you efficiently find, monitor, manage, and minimize your online accounts. This includes your logins, subscriptions, data breaches, and mailing lists. By using Yorba, you can reduce your digital footprint one step at a time.

We are excited to enter our Public Beta, and it’s a pleasure to onboard all our new members and build this platform with you all to be bigger, better, and more impactful, month over month, year over year.
