Always a great spot for lunch!! Got the baked potato with brisket and it all just worked so well together. The brisket was cooked to perfection and the potato was soft and filled with all the necessities. Rudys also supports first responders so it's an easy choice!

I used to love Rudy's. Still think they have amazing breakfast tacos. Service is always good. For the first time in a while I went in to get some bbq for the family for dinner. Got some lean and some moist brisket.

The lean brisket was dry and overcooked. The moist was better but was where the lean should have been. After going to Texas and eating at some amazing Texas's bbq restaurants, this was just a disappointment especially after spending so much for it.

Our party had 4 people and we all agreed to get a different meat and side so we could get a good idea of how everything tasted. We ended up with turkey, moist brisket, pulled pork and prime rib for the meats. The sides were potato salad, Cole slaw, baked beans, banana pudding and cobbler. Everything was amazing except for the prime rib. It was tough to cut and tougher to chew. Took it back to the counter and they couldn't have been nice about exchanging it. Got the pork loin and it was delish. I'd highly recommend this place!

Texas BBQ outside of Texas is iffy. But this place hit it out of the park! You walk in and the smell of good smoked meat hits you. Super friendly staff in a relaxed atmosphere.

You order at the counter. The meats are per the half a pound. I got moist brisket, turkey, and half jalapeno cheddar sausage. And sides of slaw and potato salad. My eyes were bigger than my stomach! So much great food. The brisket and sausage were top tier. The turkey had good smoke flavor, but was a little dry for my taste. But a little sauce made it ok. The slaw and potato salad were as classic as can be. But that is not a bad thing!

I got my food to go and at it at the Sunport while waiting on my flight home. That was a good choice. Much better food than at the airport!

Great place with good service and great food!

We were craving southern food and was glad I asked a local where to go!

The restaurant is very casual. The service was very quick. I would say for sure get the pork ribs, brisket (moist), and regular brisket. The banana pudding was very filling and good.

Pretty good for a Texas BBQ experience! I actually never had authentic Texas BBQ and coming here is definitely a great place to come to. It definitely has that Texas roadhouse vibe to it, and it was pretty refreshing to see. Rudy's is a chain so you'll definitely see this place around a lot.

You basically order everything the pound, and you can also order things like bread loafs (for free) as well to go with your meat selection. My friends and I ordered a couple things on the menu. We got the ribs, brisket, cream corn, jalapeno cheddar sausage, prime rib, etc. My favorites out of the whole bunch were the sausage, and the cream corn. The sausage had that smokey meatiness to it that I liked and with the cheese definitely made it taste much better. The cream corn was chef's kiss. It was absolutely delicious! If I really wanted to, I would have just eaten that and be satisfied. Something about the cream corn just made it so mouthwatering. I will say the meats were good too. They had that smokiness to it, some were tender, but I will say some of the meats were kinda dry, texturally and taste-wise. The ribs in particular were a little dry to me. It's good but you can definitely find better elsewhere.

Overall, this is a cool place to come to. The experience is fun and if you've never had Texas BBQ, this is a great starting place to come to!

Popped into Rudy's mostly out of convenience as I was staying at a hotel around the corner. BBQ is not my go-to for takeout but I gave it a go and found it mostly good.

Easy parking out front and tons of seating inside with a chill, country, family style vibe. Order from the counter and get the cold stuff out of the fridge yourself. The staff was a bit dry but got the job done.

I went with some pulled pork which just comes in a glob wrapped in paper, you get some buns to make it into a sandwich yourself and have to add your own BBQ sauce (they have a few flavor choices). The pork was overall juicy and tender but wish it was marinated.

I also got BBQ beans and coleslaw. The beans were bleh, somehow too runny but also too meaty, and lacked a touch of sweetness. The slaw was pretty basic but fresh and tasty and a bit on the sweet side.

They kind of toss everything into a brown paper sack so the packing leaves a bit to be desired, but otherwise it was a smooth in and out process and mostly satisfying meal.

I'm definitely disappointed after reading reviews and doing carryout. Pulled pork was bad. It was mushy and stuffed in a bowl. Brisket was decent. The sissy sauce wasn't sweet. The cole slaw was good. The peach cobbler was horrible. Dont understand why i couldn'tt get a 2 meat plate. I order .25 pound of pork and brisket. Ended with 50 percent more of each. Charged by the pound. 21 dollars was high for mediocrity. I was very surprised by the poor selection of sides.

      Absolutely amazing!!
From the get go you are greeted and welcomed with friendly faces and amazing smells of barbecue.
We let the staff know we were passing through and wanted to sample a few of the menu items.
We were give a sample of the smoked turkey and brisket....SO DELICIOUS!
We need up getting the pork ribs, brisket, two types of sausage links, banana pudding, Beans, chili, creamed corn, and potato salad.
We were so happy with everything. They were happy to wrap up what we weren't able to finish.
The atmosphere was fun and rustic but everything was clean and orderly.

Just a little bit of a taster
