Favorite restaurant - the steak is actually a spiritual experience. Not to mention the most addicting fries I've ever had.

Our dining experience at Horses was outstanding! From start to finish, the vibe was immaculate, and the service was next level. Huge shoutout to Amanda, who truly set the tone for the evening--she was such a light! Loved the music along with the great wine selection. The manager took extra time to make sure we were happy with our selection. And the food? Chef's kiss.

The whole team here just gets it--great food, great atmosphere, and amazing people. Can't wait to come back!

After a long week and an even longer day at work, my wife suggested taking her mom and sister out to dinner. I immediately thought of Horses and told them they'd love it! They had never been before, so I was excited to introduce them. I arrived a little early, around 5 PM, even though they don't open until 5:30 PM, and was able to snag a 6 PM reservation for the four of us in their charming garden seating area. With the heaters keeping us warm, the ambiance was cozy and perfect for the evening.

We started with two Caesar salads, the steak tartare, bread service, and a round of drinks. For our mains, my sister-in-law and I couldn't resist the burger--and let me tell you, it was absolutely mouthwatering! My wife and mother-in-law opted for the off-menu pasta and the pappardelle, and they were in food heaven. Every bite was a delight.

The service was outstanding, thanks to Savannah, who took care of us throughout the evening, and Amanda, who worked her magic to secure us a table on such short notice. My wife declared Horses her new go-to spot, and both my mother-in-law and sister-in-law couldn't stop raving about the experience.

Thank you, Horses, for an unforgettable evening and a fantastic dinner. We'll definitely be back!

      1 check-in

      Worth all the hype.

Of all my years living just one block away from here it took me so long to drop in. We've always wanted to walk in, but the line outside always looked intimidating. So I finally made a reservation on a random weekday.

First off, the vibes is just my jam. It's loud as a mother in there. You hear everything and yet nothing. You end up having to really focus on the person sitting in front of you.

Our server was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. We ended up ordering the two specials he mentioned which were the vodka pasta and a salad. As it happens to be their popular item, we also got the burger. The pasta had a perfect kick with the spice. I loved the burger. She was messy but my oh my oh so juicy. Ended with the cheesecake even though we had no business getting it. All I'll say is every plate was cleared.

Impeccable service. idk how those servers walked around holding multiple plates and not crash into anyone with that tight space.

Definitely going to try the bread and butter everyone raves about and the caesar next time.

Thank you for being my mew favorite neighborhood hangout. You can take all my monies.

This has become one of my favorite spots. From the service to the food/drinks it is worth visiting. They accommodated a special request, water refills were constant, and our waiter was attentive. I had to wait a few minutes before we were seated eventhough we made a reservation but you can order a drink at their bar if you wanted to.

The off-menu pasta, horses Caesar, and sobrassada panino are a must-have! Here's my review of each:

The off-menu pasta is pretty average tbh when you compare it to every other restaurant that has this dish but the spice level, sauce, pasta, and flavor were great. It also complimented their menu items very well.

The horses ceasar had the perfect amount of dressing on each endive and it wasn't too salty with the perfect hint of anchovy flavor that wasn't overpowering - very balanced and well thought out.

The sobrassada panino was on the sweeter side but it worked well with the cheese and meat. The drizzled honey on top was a great touch.

For drinks, their vesper and margarita were my favorites! If you want something refreshing try the margarita. Their vesper is a great rendition and they use gin infused fig leaf which made it taste really good.

Also, extra points for the complimentary crayons to draw on the table and have even more fun!

Had a great time at Horses! The vibes are good and the food is really solid. We particularly enjoyed the chicken dish and the bread and butter was 10 out of 10.

We were really excited about the pasta on their secret menu after seeing all of the rave reviews on it, so we ended up ordering two, but it wasn't anything too special.

Overall, really fun and vibey restaurant,
      would come back again!

Loved the vodka pasta. It was out of this world!!!! Omg wow. Best pasta I've ever had.
The interior was really nice too. I wish they have more options for dinner. Kinda limited.
Will go back for the pasta.
      Service was good too.

Hip restaurant located in Hollywood. Very little street parking but got lucky on the adjacent side street at 730 on a Wednesday, otherwise valet runs u 15-17. Drinks were pretty average, not much alcohol, heavy ice. The Caesar salad was decent, good size though heavy dressing with good anchovy flavor.there's sorpressata panini which is essential hot honey pizza in panini form, it was decent. Spinach lasagna roll pasta was very bland, texturally not very great, would skip this. Vodka sauce posts had quite a bit of chili pepper flavor and good crispy edges but fairly average compared to pasta at an Italian restaurant. Vibes were good service was good, parking is tough, food was ok, prices were on the higher side for what it is.

We had such a great time here! We were visiting family in So Cal and wanted to have a great meal together. We had reservations and were seated right away. Even on a midweek night on 12/29/2023, the restaurant was packed!

Beautiful ambiance inside. Great place for a a dinner for adults, I did not see a single child. It's dark inside, perfect for date nights!

Stephen was our server and he was on top of everything! We ordered some cocktails and wine, the drinks were served at the perfectly chilled temperature.

Between four adults, we shared to appetizers and for entrées. We loved the sashimi amberjack, sliced super thin and served with lemon juice and Chinese chili crisp (hot sauce). The Caesar salad was made with endive leaves and crushed croutons (or were they crispy pancake crumbs?). The salad dressing was perfectly balanced with anchovies and cheese, one of the best Caesar salad dressings I've had in a long time.

Bass was also very delicious, served on cannellini beans that were perfectly cooked.

The mushroom pizzette was delicious! I was surprised that we ordered this at a nicer restaurant, but very glad we did. I'm still remembering about this pizzette three months later.

Someone at the table, ordered the Cornish game hen, which I'm not a huge fan of. It was just OK. But don't take my word for it since that's not something I ever order.

The pasta dish for me was kind of a bust too. The top was too dried and crispy.

Just a heads up that there is a restaurant via 5% percent added to your tab. This is separate from the gratuity.

Huge thanks to Stephen for making it a very fun night.
