Wikidata's 10th Birthday – DACH Culture Contest
As part of the celebrations around Wikidata's tenth birthday in October 2022, Wikimedia Austria (Q18559623) and Wikimedia Deutschland (Q8288) are organizing a contest with the goal to add and improve data about libraries and culture in Austria, Germany and Switzerland – also known as D-A-CH (Q1151241).
Timeline
- The competition runs from Saturday, October 1 2022, 00:00 UTC until Monday, October 16 2022, 23:59 UTC. You can enroll at any time during the competition.
- The final score will be calculated, and the results announced, about two weeks after the competition.

- There are two categories with separate scopes and prizes. Please choose one of the categories to participate in, you may not enroll in both parts of the competition.

Prizes
For the two categories in this competition there will be three prizes respectively.
- 2× Prize 1: 150 EUR vouchers
- 2× Prize 2: 100 EUR vouchers
- 2× Prize 3: 50 EUR vouchers
The vouchers will be from institutions or organisations for cultural events, book stores or similar. We will contact the winners to agree upon which kind of vouchers would be of interest for them.
