- Oppose The existing arguments seem reasonably compelling: renaming the existing property to cover non-scanned works seems easier. The semantic distinction between a work being digitally originated and scanned is uninteresting—the origin of the file is something that can be discerned from metadata on Commons itself (and, if of interest to Wikidata users, supplied as qualifications on the existing property). If this does get created, or the existing property is renamed, the 'C' in 'Commons' should be capitalised. —Tom Morris (talk) 16:17, 28 January 2019 (UTC)
