Motivation
[edit]I was editing Ready Player One (Q22000542) adding the cast members from the credits, but I noticed that even though Wikidata items exist for the casting director (Q1049296) there is no way to associate those individuals with the film. U 1F360 (talk) 04:20, 29 July 2018 (UTC)

- Oppose. The purpose of film crew member (P3092) is so that we don't have to create a property for every single type of person involved in film making. Qualify it with object of statement has role (P3831) casting director (Q1049296), per the documentation. --Yair rand (talk) 17:22, 30 July 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose. Per Yair. Husky (talk) 21:12, 30 July 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose per Yair, @U 1F360: do you agree with the proposed solution? Than we can close this one. Multichill (talk) 21:03, 21 September 2018 (UTC)
- Comment @Multichill: Yep! I didn't know that film crew member (P3092) existed, but that works! Thanks for asking! U 1F360 (talk) 21:13, 21 September 2018 (UTC)
