Motivation

Repertorium Biblicum Medii Aevi was originally published as a series of books between 1950 and 1981, identifying texts such as commentaries and poetry that document reception of the Bible in the Middle Ages. Many of these works are unpublished and/or anonymous and difficult to distinguish. In scholarship these are often cited as 'Stegmüller' numbers.
