Ne convient-il pas de distinguer la maison d'édition de l'université ? Peut-on, en France confondre les PUF et la Sorbonne, par exemple ? Plusieurs universités ont d'ailleurs leur presses universitaires. La confusion peut être préjudiciable. Bel bonjour. --Ambre Troizat (talk) 15:53, 24 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Library of Congress Classification

[edit]

Hi! I've just noticed that you added two Library of Congress Classification (P1149) in Basil of Caesarea (Q44258): while the second (BR1720.B3) is clearly OK and its link works well, the first (.BR65.B3-.B36) seems violating format-constraint (which maybe is wrong, I don't know) and its link doesn't work. Could you explain me the difference between the two IDs? Thank you very much, --Epìdosis 17:22, 28 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! I added those years ago before there were format-constraints, so I wasn't aware the extra was a violation. BR1720.B3 is the number for biographies of Basil of Caesarea, while BR65.B3-.B36 (the opening "." was a typo) refer to a span of numbers for Basil's works. Now that I know there aren't supposed to be two numbers, I removed the one referring to his written works. Hopefully that was the appropriate solution! --User:Kiwigirl3850 (talk) 00:19, 3 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hymns focus list

[edit]

You've marked a number of items as being "on the focus list for" WikiProject PCC Wikidata Pilot/Wheaton College/Hymns, but I cannot locate the focus list. --EncycloPetey (talk) 21:10, 18 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I've been using that marking as a basis for creating a list, but I haven't yet learned how to use Listeria to generate the list. I'm hoping that I will have time to figure that out in the next couple of months. --User:Kiwigirl3850 (talk)

FULL CAPS

[edit]

Hi Kiwigirl,

please don't add hymns with full caps, e.g. at MCMINNVILLE (Q127044059).-- Bernice Heiderman (talk) 16:18, 17 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Bernice Heiderman, full caps is the convention used by hymnological scholars to designate hymn tunes, which is why I use the convention. If there is a Wikidata rule that does not permit this, will you please point me to it? --User:Kiwigirl3850 (talk) 12:23, 18 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
