WikiBlame

[edit]

Hi Fliminator, would it be possible for WikiBlame to support Wikidata? It would be excellent even if it operate only in raw mode, searching the JSON. John Vandenberg (talk) 02:20, 15 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi John, please give me an example page, I could test it with. --Flominator (talk) 17:03, 9 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Landkreis rank

[edit]

Hi! Please set preferred rank for the current Landkreis, for example here: Todtnau (Q61665). It is common practice, and many templates use this setting to determine the current value. Thank you, Bean49 (talk) 14:04, 16 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, Bean49, I will try to remember in the future. I'm pretty new to using Wikidata a little more, since I built a feature for the WikiTree browser extension WikiTree BEE, that will retrieve the hierarchical administrative units to build a location string. Are there any tools, like user scripts or something, that will make editing Wikidata a little easier? --Flominator (talk) 19:30, 16 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Wikidata:Tools. I think Help:QuickStatements/de is the most popular. – Bean49 (talk) 20:01, 16 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you don't set preferred rank, we get error on huwiki. Please set preferred rank for the current Landkreis. Münstertal/Schwarzwald (Q274990) With thanks, Bean49 (talk) 14:43, 22 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the reminder. I feel guilty for adding another one, but there were two already, so somebody must have forgotten before me ;) I fixed it. Flominator (talk) 15:05, 22 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. There was no error because one is not Landkreis. Bean49 (talk) 15:25, 22 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Can you please set preferred rank for the current Landkreis? Sankt Peter (Q557671) Bean49 (talk) 13:17, 26 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Done. Although I'm not 100% convinced it is right, because I saw the Verwaltungsgemeinschaft selected in some cases. That is basically two towns teaming up to reduce administrative costs and I would not consider that more important than a county (Landkreis). But I don't really know. Flominator (talk) 04:38, 27 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Could you fix Dinslaken (Q3939) please? Bean49 (talk) 12:49, 10 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Done. May it be an idea to implement a warning or something for that property? Flominator (talk) 12:51, 10 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Could be single-best-value constraint (Q52060874), but I'm not sure how applicable is. Bean49 (talk) 16:18, 10 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
