What is this item?

[edit]

@Push-f I'm still confused. I know what a Wikibase property datatype (Q115468759). It's the datatype of the value of the property. For example, string, monolingual text, quantity, item, etc. But what is this item? Lectrician1 (talk) 17:26, 13 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

No you are misunderstanding Wikibase property datatype (Q115468759). Wikibase property datatype (Q115468759) is Property ... Wikibase item datatype (Q115470359) is Item.
E.g. subproperty of (P1647) is of type Wikibase property datatype (Q115468759) while subclass of (P279) is of type Wikibase item datatype (Q115470359).

Ohhhhh. And I see its use now. Though do we need a dedicated item to represent the RDF equivalent of a Wikibase entity? Can't we just use exact match (P2888) like we do on Wikibase property (Q29934218)? Also, http://wikiba.se/ontology#WikibaseProperty isn't a valid RDF link. There's no object in https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Wikibase/Indexing/RDF_Dump_Format#Objects that is called "WikibaseProperty". It's only http://wikiba.se/ontology#Property Lectrician1 (talk) 17:59, 13 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I am afraid I don't know what you mean by "RDF equivalent of a Wikibase entity".
Right ... I think I also noticed that some entries missing from the Wikibase system ontology (Q115686989) ... I'll see on contributing a fix or opening a phabricator ticket. --Push-f (talk) 18:40, 13 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
