After Luigi’s death, the gallery in Florence was closed and its remaining collection was sold. Arturo Grassi, one of Luigi Grassi’s sons, however, continued the family business as a private dealer of Old Master paintings in New York. For today, Grassi Studio represents a father-and-son partnership of Marco and Matteo Grassi. Marco Grassi, the son of Arturo and the father of Matteo, is a professional fine arts conservator who has a private studio in SoHo, NYC, while Matteo Grassi is a reputable European art dealer based in France.
