Can this be used for the codename of a device?
[edit]Android devices have a two-word name for them of the form: MANUFACTURER-CODENAME. I'm not certain how this relates to the codename during development, but this would need to exist early in development of a device to build the Android image for it. I'd like to store this for Android-based devices because it's useful for finding the devices in the database as this name is exposed in the UI and used in the aftermarket OS community. Is this attribute appropriate to use for this (e.g. on Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 Wi-Fi (Q126211655))? You will usually see this written as samsung-milletwifi
(generally in code, e.g. in the linux kernel). I'd think this longer form is the more accurate way to write this. BasilicumTree (talk) 17:05, 9 June 2024 (UTC)
