The Challenge:

Dark wood ceilings, beams and floors.
Plus, how to make it family friendly.

The Solution:

How It Came Together

Sarah wanted the
space to feel light
open despite
the dark beams
floors."

— Shelby Towell, Designer

Shelby added texture
baby–friendly softness
as well as rounded coffee
side tables (no sharp
