I want to write. I like to write. I'm scared to write and practically petrified to share what I write. So I read. Mostly.

On 13 August 2019, I got brave and pressed the button to publish a piece based on my high school journals. Now in September 2024, I'm inviting adventurous readers to come along with me in near real time as I work on the first of three books in The Ghost Orchid series. It's tentatively titled "The Weight of Our Expectations".

It's based on the real-life experiences of two people I met at a party a few years back and then happened to run into one of them at the Chicago O'Hare airport more recently.
