A message to you all during these inconvenient times,
Heyo, everyone! Long time no chat!
As you all know, we are currently suffering from a pandemic that has infected and affected many (if not all) of us in some way, shape, or form. Wherever you are, just know that you are not alone in your struggle. I don't know a single person who would rather be cooped up like this (besides my mother who commutes over an hour a day); for those of us in the northern hemisphere, this is supposed to be spring. This is supposed to be a colorful, bright, and happy season before entering the sunniest season...
As much as I hate this situation, I would highly advise reaching out to your loved ones, even if it's just a simple "hey, how are you doing?" I would also highly advise continuing to practice good hygiene and to follow whatever orders have been implemented by your government. We are seeing that China is getting closer to letting their citizens back out since they have strictly followed their quarantine guidelines. If we can all learn to do the same, we can push through this pandemic faster together.
In the meantime, focus on what you can do to pass the time, if you have nothing else you can do. For my fellow university students, our online courses will keep us occupied enough. For those essential establishment employees, our people need your services now more than ever (clinical and supplies). For you young ones out there whose schools have been cancelled, be on the lookout for any announcements regarding your education; who knows if school will be prolonged (not that anyone wants that).
This pandemic could go longer than anticipated, but there will be an end. We will get past this, no matter what. We have done it every 100 years, and we will continue to do so every 100 years to come.
If anyone needs to talk, reach out to someone you can entrust. To anyone who would like to talk with me, feel free to reach out to me if you really need.
Love you all, and take care <3
