oh no you’re not bothering me at all! thank you for the compliment, it’s really sweet and means a lot for writing tips, the best thing i could say is practice. i mean, ive been writing mutual feelings for nearly a year now, and other than the chapters ive re-edited, there’s a big difference in the quality of storytelling. i’ve been taking a creative writing class at school and learned to ditch all “rules of proper writing.” for example; when a teacher will say “don’t start a sentence with but or and,” or, “don’t use too many commas, it’s inproper.” stuff like that, because in reality, as long as the sentence sounds good and flows, there are no rules. trust your gut and whatever you think world best, do that. also, by reading other people’s writing, experimenting with different levels of storytelling and imagery really helps. don’t worry about being formal with it either, and don’t worry about being “proper” or “correct,” it’s all perspective. just practicing and being critical of yourself will help you progress, and it’s worth it in the end. i hope this helps, i know my writing has gotten better but i’m always looking for new ways to improve.
