Hey yo...
I am a writer of absurdist satire (think Kurt Vonnegut), science-fiction, and young adult fiction. I loved reading as a child (Goosebumps were the best!) and started writing stories when I was seven. I wrote my first novel at 17 and self-published it and sold it to my classmates in high school. Unfortunately, I totally underestimated the cost of computer ink and ended up losing $60 on the entire endeavor.
These days, in addition to writing, I spend my days working as an English/Language Arts instructor at one of the nation's top vocational high schools, sharing my love of literature with my students. I have my M.A. in Creative Writing from Wilkes University, and my short stories have appeared in over a dozen print and online literary journals.
When I'm not writing, you can find me playing disc golf, hiking the Pennsylvania trails, or watching a wonderfully terrible Nicolas Cage movie (Not the bees!!!). Nothing is better than a bad movie.
