You can call me August, but I will also be summoned by cool pond bugs and/or pictures of cats.

I'm a queer spec fic writer with a fondness for tossing characters into things they think they aren't prepared for. Most of my work is Dark Fantasy or Horror, but I cross paths with Sci-Fi, Paranormal, and Romance more often than not. 

If my books have anything in common, it's wild settings, happy endings, casual rep, and kickass disaster queers being disasters but also kickass!

In the normal world, I work for the UN, wait on two cats, and keep Carassius and Corixidae in outdoor aquaria. I am five years old inside. 

I wasn't kidding about the pond bugs.
