Writing Tips:
-Always read your work out loud.
-Writing is editing.
-Only describe what your main character can see.
-Cut cut cut/ less is more.
-Avoid cliches.
-Know every character's backstory even if it's not in your story.
-What would be in your protagonist's/antagonist's wastepaper basket?
-Don't be afraid to be experimental with language.
-Only break the rules when you know the rules.
-Every chapter must move the story on.
-Never be precious but stick to your instincts.
-Never know exactly how the story is going to end. Let your character have a say so they can grow.
-Have fun.
