(I know that Laurens is the one that's 3 years older, but John sounds cute as a shy kid. I also know this is probably crappy, and ive changed some details, such as Lafayette being three years older than Laurens instead of three years younger, and ive made relations between characters that aren't real. His town is still filled with the homophobic, racist people he's always been surrounded by, and not to mention his abusive father. Alexander Hamilton, a selective mute, has finally had enough. He leaves the Caribbean and moves in with his cousin Usnavi. So, little did John know, what's been the same for years was about to get flipped upside down, just because of one day and one silent boy.

*Completed History professor, John Laurens is teaching his first year since being transfered from South Carolina. "King's College" is where he works now, much different than the small town he used to live in. He takes a liking to quite a few of the locals, finding it isn't as hard as he thought to make friends, and maybe even something more that that. Alexander Hamilton comes from a smaller town in Jersey. He's used to the big city, but finds living on his own for the first time is proving easier said than done. Keeping up on school has never really been a problem for him, but distractions such as a complicated relation with a professor and a life that just can't seem to give him a break makes it a little harder than he had initially intended.

Alexander Hamilton has recently been accepted into King's College, and he's scared. He's never had friends growing up, and has too much to say at once. But will his overly energetic room mate change his views of the future ahead of him?

John Laurens is being sent to a camp, where he meets someone new, who said his name was Alex. This is a Lams fan-fic and it is told in perspective of John writing in his journal.
