Because Sherlock needs to leave John. And Sherlock doesn't think he can. An interesting twist on the Sherlock universe-Sherlock is a girl. John, however, doesn't know this. Neither does Mrs. Hudson, or anyone else besides his direct family. This takes place sometime after series 2 or 3, with Mary only dating John. It will eventually contain a bit of Johnlock, with the usual tension and what-not throughout the whole story. But this isn't necessarily just a Johnlock story. There'll be other ships somewhat approached, but overall, it's more of a thriller (or at least, I'm trying to have it be). Imagine a coffee shop AU with a twist. Sherlock Series 4 came to television on Jan 1st 2017. This is set after that. It's an AU which stands for Alternate Universe; the change to canon is that Mary does not have a child and John is moving on with his life after her death. Moriarty is dead and no more. This is intended to be a happy ending after the tragedy of Series 4, and hopefully the books too (Thank you to the late Arthur Conan Doyle). I wish to do both these works justice - not to devalue what happened, but simply to re-contextualise. It is important to note that Sherlock Holmes, in this particular work, is neurodivergent. Enjoy. John and Sherlock are continuing their crime solving life but the return of Moriarty looms over them and when a case doesn't add up and their loved ones are threatened it is up to Sherlock to solve the case. This was my version of events for the fourth series with some extra features. I hope you enjoy it and i don't have an updating schedule but I am going to try and be fairly regular. This fanfic is based off a Fanvid I saw on YouTube. I give the owner full credit for the idea, I just wanted to write it out as a fic. Although, I put my own twists on this story and it's original video plot. The main scenario and the way things play out are almost the same as in the video. But I decided to put Lestrade, a little bit of Anderson, Donovan, and Mrs. Hudson in this as well. Mycroft and Mary are also in this. And some other characters from the show are mentioned in this. I didn't want to leave too many people out! John Watson is a high school teacher. Sherlock Holmes is one of his students. Somehow, John falls for the kid. But John is married, so his little (illegal) affair ends, badly.
