I didn't want to find out my whole life was a lie. I just wanted a bloody promotion. Guess fate had other plans? **** The cold air fanned over my face as I opened the door. The exit door lead to the back of the building so it was pitch black. I leaned against the wall trying to control myself. Blood was running down my arm and head. While I was in my own world I heard faint sounds behind me but I didn't bother to look or run away. The footsteps got closer and I was pretty sure it was Walker's men. I should run. I should try to fight. But what's the point in trying to run away? He would eventually find me and if he has his way he would most likely kill me. If this is my fate then why am I trying to fight it? I felt someone harshly grab my waist and pull me up and I complied. They dragged me down the alley and into the busy street. I heard the opening of a car and the next thing I knew I was being thrown into a car. My head hit the hard leather seat and the door shut behind me. Maybe this is how my life will end. Maybe I should just let it happen. Maybe I was destined to die alone as a no one. With that I let the darkness consume me.

The story follows the captain of an elite unit of foot soldiers fighting on the front lines against a demon army. After losing everything in the battle the captain is saved by a powerful demon who is one of the "Four Horsemen" a group of 4 ultra powerful demons that defected from the demon lord's army to defend the humans. How will the captain move on after losing everything, and will he prove himself to the Horseman that saved his life?

If you haven't read book one what's the hold up?! Anyways I'd suggest you read book one to more fully understand the connection. A new take on the first novel of the Anti-Hero story line, with updated and polished writing. Expanding and rewriting the story along with adding never before scenes and characterizations with most of the original story beats along the way. This is not the official canon novel, however I'd like to think of it as an alternative universe. You might recognize some things, and see new ones as well. This is also a test for the audience to see how my writing has improved over the years. See which one does best. This is a demo, and will only be up to eight chapters before the main plot of the story unfolds. So if this gets enough traction and if people like this version more, then I'll continue writing it and make this one the canon version instead. (This would also make it a rewrite for Secrets of Demise)

Mr Ambrose took my hand and drag me to his cabin upstairs. As soon as we entered he engulfed me in a tight passionate kiss. I know we have so many blanks to fill. Like I still don't know anything about him and the same goes with him. Also there are many unanswered questions like Where is he from? Why does not he visits his mother? Why he is the way he is? But we got a lot of time to complete thouse blanks and answer all those unanswered questions but for now I want just this silence to engulf us. So that we need not to worry about all those insignificant things. And that's what happened. Silence engulfed us. Just silence. No words were needed to be said between us. I understood what he wants to say even though he didn't spoke a single syllable. If you add some icy cold stares with some witful planning with side of true friendship added with a pinch of feminst power against male chavunism don't forget to add the long really long silenceses and tadaaaaaa you get a perfect strom and silence recipee. 3) This story starts just after their adventure from their trip to Brazil for golds i.e. the very next day which means its storyline is after the third part of this series that is silence is golden. 4) It is a must to read the first three parts of the original book of Sir rob for story to make sense. The hero is born into a small village stricken with poverty and famine sickness spread throughout the village. The mother of the hero was sick and frail hunger and dehydration drained her of all her strength. However she managed to have two babies before death. A passerby came across the babies and decided to take one in as their own. At that day a Demon took the other sibling away. This is the story of how the hero rised to take down the Demon Lord.
