She discovers a prophecy that depicts a heroic orange cat, one who will defeat the rising darkness of their rival Clan. But when things don't go according to plan, Foxpool must team up with her leader, Turtlestar, and her warrior friend, Rosethorn, to go where no waking cat has gone before: the forests of StarClan. But all friendships have cracks, and those between these three cats might just be big enough to cause the downfall of their Clan.

(Story is being re-written, so some parts are worse than others) Ever since Eagleflight's friend dies in his kit-hood, nightmares have been rocking every slumber. It only gets worse when Eagleflight goes into battle, getting seriously hurt in the process. In the many moons in the medicine cats den, Eagleflight ponders a life as a medicine cat. When a horrible flu rocks the clan over a horrible winter, Starclan goes silent. Except, not for him. He receives many confusing visions. Soon even Hayflower is infected, and Eagleflight stands alone. Though Harepaw had some knowledge about them, having observed a few pass by on the borders, she had not truly encountered one face-to-face except for exchanging sharp words. She did not harbor a favorable opinion towards them. Nonetheless, she was compelled to comply with the instructions of her mentor, the benevolent and voluminous Lionheart. He always displayed kindness towards her, ensuring she was nourished before engaging in any training sessions or other activities. However, her existence would undergo a significant transformation when a domesticated cat nonchalantly wanders into her Clan, potentially revealing a reality that is not all sunshine and rainbows.

Softpaw always thought she'd live the normal life of any MistClan cat.
