Female NASCAR driver, Jo McGuire, who drives for Joe Gibbs Racing thinks her life is perfect right now. 3 championships in the 8 years she has been racing, 12 top 5 finishes in 15 starts, and 5 wins in 10 starts. But the season is still continuing.

JGR is flourishing with wins and the team is loving it. But there are two teams who absolutely don't like each other-and they are Joe Gibbs Racing and Team Penske. But at the end of the season, things are changing and people are too.

Relationships are at stake, and so are true identities.

This story is mostly fictional, some characters are also fictional. If you would like to use any of the characters that are fictional, ask me. Oh and most of the twitter names used in here are also fictional.

I am also terrible at writing descriptions, so please read this story regardless of the description. Thank you!

"Oh my god, this Corvette is so fucking sexy." I ran my hand along the peeling red paint. It wasn't in the best condition, but a Corvette was a Corvette. "Can I drive it?" "There's no engine. We used it for parts," Drake said. My heart sank into my stomach, and I let out a wheeze. "You what?" "We were running low on funds, so we did what we had to do," Josiah said. "It never meant anything to us anyway." What the fuck? "How the hell can you call yourselves a racing team if you're willing to do that to one of the best-looking cars ever made?" I shook my head. "It's disgusting." "What? Racing?" Drake's mouth fell open. "Oh my god, no. We wanted a driver." I looked over at Josiah, then Drake. "I drive cars for a living, therefore I'm a driver. What's the confusion?" "You said you drove for RTR," Josiah said. I nodded. "Yeah, Roger Truscott Racing." "Oh no. Oh my god. Look, in our line of work, that means Real Time Robotics," Drake said. "Robotics? What the fuck is going on?" I asked. "You wouldn't happen to know much about combat robotics, would you?" Drake forced a smile, and it wasn't difficult to see the hope leave his eyes. *** Katie Moore is a controversial figure in the car racing world with several strikes against her. One, she is a female. Two, she is a female with opinions. And three, she is a female with opinions who thoroughly enjoys sharing them with no inhibition. A one-track mind (with a few side streets), all she wants is to win a race to shut everyone up about her mistakes and misfortunes. But when she's down on her luck, a team of nerds finds their way into her life, giving her an offer that she probably should refuse.

COMPLETED, CURRENTLY EDITING/PARTIALLY REWRITING (please excuse the mess. Some of the plot is being changed so there might be a few areas that get confusing, nothing too much though) Funny how life decides to act like a roller coaster. The ups and down come in a split second. You can't decide whether you want fast or slow. Dangerous or steady. But you don't get a choice. You go with the flow. No matter what. I'm Phoenix Wood, the misfit, and outcast of my town. Instead of a roller coaster my life's more like a train wreck. My adventure loving parents were lost at sea and I was left to my aunt Clare Small. Like I said, train wreck... Not roller coaster, TRAIN WRECK. Not to mention the fact that I end up stuck with the bad boy. Could it get any worse? Secrets unravel and life gets a bit more complicated that it used to be. But it must go on. She's stuck with the bad boy. Or is it the other way around? Maybe he's stuck with the bad Girl... * WARNING: this book is my first work, it'll be a bit rough at the start and sometimes I'll accidentally mess up the story line or it will seem ridiculously stupid, so read at your own risk (I will admit, this book is like my baby, so please be kind when correcting my errors). It gets much better about half way through. If you'd like to read a book of mine that is much better written, go to my profile and find the book Breathe Me. Thanks! (Seriously though, there's a TON of mistakes, some made because I'm currently editing, so the story line could get confusing in some places) Originally published: 2 / 13 / 2014 Completed: 1 / 9 / 2017 Finished Editing: (Not finished yet) Highest rank: #303 in Teen Fiction (1-10-2017)
