Y/N was the eldest of the royal family. Her life was great. She was turning 16, the age where she'll be able to help her parents with royal duties, and get more privileges, when her younger sister, Frisk, goes missing. Y/N's life falls apart, while her mother heartbroken, and her father started to ignore her. Not having a great life, she decides to run away, learning about the hard life of being a citizen. Having to live on the complete opposite side with poverty, she learns she has to hide, and everyone isn't what they seem. Not even her. So, monsters and humans have been living together on the surface for quite a few years now... That's an accomplishment! No resets, no new timeline. Just a future continuing forward like everyone could have possibly hoped for. However, not everything is hopeful. You can't expect to live a life where everything is sunshine and rainbows. Even with no longer having the threat of someone like Chara, things can still happen when you least expect them to. You can't always have your "Happy Ending".

Hi guys this is a new story based off of the game undertale. Also this is my first fanfic I have ever written so I hope you like it. Frisk is 13 and so is chara. Sans is 130 which basically means he's 13 in monster years. Papyrus is 160 and toriel is 170 aka 17. Undyne is also 170. Mettaton is a girl. Alphys is 160.

Y/N the golden child, the star of the family. Y/N never really felt like she was part of her family despite her loving relatives. She felt like they only loved her because of her accomplishments, magic powers and nothing else, while in reality that's not true at all. They just didn't love her the way she wanted to be loved, so she decided to just run away from it all.... MT. What if there was an anomaly in the Underground? No, not Frisk. Not Chara either. Someone else entirely. How could a few measly children stand to this supposedly immortal foe and save the Underground from destruction? Is it even possible to do so? That means no Soriel, Papyton, etc. The only ships are Torgore (in the past) and Alphyne. •This is NOT an x reader. I heavily dislike those types of stories. The reader will have no part in this. •This exists outside of canon to an extreme. For example, Frisk is the second human and not the eighth. •There will be OCs, but only for a few humans and they still technically exist in normal Undertale. •There is a sequel. I'm planning on rewriting it after this one, as it is much more random and definitely needs it. Clanky, plot holes/retconning, etc. It's more of an OC thing, to explore them and their issues, than an Undertale thing, but it has its similarities. •There will be some explicitives. It won't be unnecessary or excessive, only when it fits the situation and character. I will not be using any slurs, as that's just plain disrespectful, even if some of them apply to me. Routine. The entirety of every living thing is dominated by it, human or monster. Everything HAS to be the same. It was in this that you were the exception. For you everything was new, every time line a detailed altered in order to satisfy your sadistic desire for a new ending, whether it be only a few details of dialogue altered or something else entirely. Monsters you once considered family you now butcher and slaughter without a second thought, after all, that's what the Reset is there for, right? And all at once it stops. Your small hold over the Underground is ripped away from you and you are thrown into a dying timeline, monsterkind's final attempt at self-preservation. You're alone, completely and utterly alone. Except one. And he has a bone to pick with you.

Our beloved Monsters live at the surface for almost a year now. As Christmas time begins, they are all overwhelmed by the festivity and happiness this time of the year brings to everyone. And monsters realize: it's been a long time since they celebrated a family festival under the stars. This is basically a small collection of one-shots that play in the same universe. It will work like an Advent calendar, which means there will (hopefully) be one chapter per day , until it's Christmas eve.
