Getting beaten has never been fun. But Anna Snow has always gone through with it all. The slaps across the face, the punches and the bloody noses. But guess where it's all at. Home. Not at school. At school, she fakes her "perfect" smile and hangs out with all of her friends. But her best friend, Paisley, is the only one who knows what she goes through. She hasn't told another soul, and Anna honestly just wishes that her mother were still there. Not her stupid, drunken father that does nothing but choke her and slam her against the wall to punch her and slap her and kick her. She faces dread, but plasters a smile on her sometimes bruised face. People ask what happens. The "popular" highschool girl with straight A's lies and says she fell down the stairs or something. Always afraid to wear too short of shorts. Scared someone might figure something out and she'll end up having to go to a foster home until she gets adopted. But then she has some suicidal thoughts. Her friends may help her through a lot of it, but will she ever be able to escape the pain?

The Hound

65 parts Complete

Antique store owner Liz brings home a Victorian taxidermy hound from auction, unwittingly unleashing dark forces on her wife and son. ***** Nat Loman has finally married the love of her life, Liz, and is getting used to her role as stepmother to Liz's 5-year-old son, Liam. The Loman family runs a bustling antique business so they attend a sale where a striking, black taxidermied hound is up for auction. Liz picks it up for the business, but it ends up being stored in their home, where Nat notices strange things occurring. She quickly discovers the past residents had died violently. Then she hears from a friend about the myth of "the devil's dog", a hound that perches in the shadows, tearing families apart from the inside. Soon, people around the Lomans are dying, and Liz is changing, darkening. It's up to Nat to save the woman she loves from the darkness closing in, and to save Liam from danger no matter what she has to sacrifice.
