They are Rose Quartz's legacy. They are the Crystal Gems. An odd AU that is rather different from canon (and yes, I'm aware of how weird the concept is). Then you met Rose Quartz, she explained everything and she was the only one you trusted... until you were poofed. Suddenly you were thrust into a new Era, Rose Quartz seemed to have become a child, the people you feared are now on your side. Steven, Homeworld, Danger... Diamonds... Those words don't sound too comforting together, right? Who said this was a comforting story? For Steven and the gems, things finally don't go right. When Steven is separated from Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl during the attempt to retrieve his father from the zoo, he is found, and quickly identified as a rose quartz gem... and not just any, but the rebellion leader's own son. Blue and Yellow Diamond create a master plan to finally eliminate the Crystal Gems, and Steven is the key to doing so. All they have to do is play a game of emotions, and things will soon fall into their hands, due to a very unlikely snitch. Will Steven be able to resist the Diamonds and escape, or will Steven's Universe crumple because of himself? (Rated T, to be on the completely safe side, but I seriously doubt there will be anything too bad in my fanfiction, as I am trying to make it as close to the style of the show as possible! It was tough work healing all of Beach City. From the land to the settlements, all that was wrecked has now been rebuilt stronger and better than ever. But despite the prosperity, Steven misses Spinel more than he'll ever admit. Eventually, he's had enough and decides to go visit her on Homeworld. The question is though, is this feeling due to being separated from a new friend or is it fact something much deeper? Steven must find out soon because no adventure for him is without conflict and some such conflict is lurking around waiting to strike when he least expects it. The crystal gems won the war, and all that is left of the gems from homeworld are Jasper, Lapis, and Peridot. Steven is the son of pink diamond, a watered down way to preserve her life form from being shattered. No one knows they are there. All of the personalities are the same, just different circumstances and Steven's gem is diamond like. What will the Crystal Gems do if they find him? None of these characters are mine.
