Once New Orleans became infected with the "Dark flu" everything changed. School became a doctors appointment and adults beame freakishly worried parents. Just as everyone was getting used to the daily checks, the flu suddenly became deadly. But not everyone is staying dead. Carmen, a normal 17 year old student become's a leader of a group of scared teenagers defending themselves against the walking dead, while trying to stay alive and find safe ground, Romace sparks, voilence grows and friendship becomes the only upperhand. Will Carmen and all her pack survive? Or will corpses rule in this Zombie Apocalypse?

A high school experiences a power outage. The sky becomes gloomy. Possesed students roam the dark hallways. Students die after another. A large group of friends split into smaller group to find things they need for their survival. Dramatic events occur, but they still stick together. Will these students be able to survive this outbreak? This was a group stories my friends and I wrote. I felt like I should give them some credit. Each helping another to survive the dangers of the what the world has become. They bond, they trust but Dream stands out from the others because she is strange and mutant-like. No one could fully trust her, not that it'd matter anyway because Dream trusts no one except herself. So, when they receive a message which sends them to the very top of the hotel. Floor 31. They are forced to fight and kill zombies and monsters just for a chance of safety. But does this 'safety' even exist?

Very Rough Draft* During a casual day at school, a sudden zombie outbreak occurs in the small town of Amberley, South Island, New Zealand, causing teachers and students to evacuate immediately. Teachers have gave out an odd stupid plan to set kids up with younger students. Every man for himself, doesn't quite suit the teachers ideas, even if most will die within the first week. But, being forced to, teachers put together groups of 6, 1 teacher, with a group of kids, and taking 3 JK/SK students with them, from the elementary side of one of the 3 schools that occupy the large vast of land. When Alex is placed in her group, she knew it was going to be hell. But she doesn't let that overrule her. She knows she must do everything in her will to keep the little ones alive. When the moment finally comes, teachers and students all split, leaving the schools a ghost town, and everyone for themselves or the dead. But will their chance increase? Or will their survival be a waste? Who will live? And who will die? Was it all just a waste of time?

Shes needs to learn how to survive with the dead walking around. Will she be able to survive with the new people she's going to meet?
