Capitol High was anything but normal.  You had your jocks, your nerds, and the typical peer pressure in life to work around.  For Cato Zane Marshall and Clove Denise Kingston they were the typical friends who grew up together at a young age and always stood by the other.  From a drunk father to one who had serious medical issues.  But because of that they could always count on the other to be there for the other.  

That is until their Senior year in High school when a new girl arrived named Sharlane "Glimmer" Hills who fell head over hills for Cato.  Could Clove still keep her one friend that she cared for more then anything?  Or was it time for her to tell herself that she must let go?!
